About The Project
Survey support during track replacement on the Bala subdivision, near bridges at Mi. 8.8, 8.6 and 8.5.
An initial survey was done of the entire construction limits with the purpose of preparing layout data from the existing conditions, so track would be put back in the same position. When required, surveyors staked out the proposed alignments before construction. During construction, survey crews work with on-site contractors to ensure the track is being put in at the correct horizontal and vertical alignments.
To date Groma has provided survey support for 2 weekend work blocks, with surveyors on alternating day & night shifts.
